Biography

Aude M : the French elegance…the rigor of the ballet combined with latin dances’ fantasy… the fire under the ice !

Aude M started out dancing at the age of 4. She entered the Dance Academy of Nancy, beginning with ballet dance lessons at the age of 6 to finally come out with a second price at the age of 14. Her training led her to practice Jazz, character and ethnic dances at the same time, added with the Piano and singing lessons.

She started practicing couple dances at the age of 20 with Rock’N’Roll, and went on several years later with the salsa, the Cha-cha-cha (and others latin and carribean dances), the West Coast Swing (and other swing dances) and ballroom dances, at CAP DANCE school in Nancy-Laxou, where she will teach the Rock’N’Roll and the West Coast Swing two years later.

Once her law studies finished, she persists in practicing the Salsa with the New York Style On 2 in Paris and appears on several national and international stages, from 2006 in particular when she joined Mouaze KONATE’s dance company beside whom she made many shows, by two or four (Nuestro Amor, Mission Impossible, AfroSpace, La Vie en Rose, PicaDulce), then in 2011 within Big Spenders dance company, with whom she will win fame in 2 shows (Cubauza and Dos Gardenias.)

The West Coast Swing will always be part of her career and it’s during the « What Else » of November 2010 in Paris and the West Coast Swing Dance Festival of January 2011 in Paris that she will appear beside Olivier Rio.

Her passion for dance led her to take an interest in oriental dance, the dance of 5 rhythms, the Pin-Up Art, the corporal mime technique…and naturally the basic body technics as floor barre, postural stretching, Qi Qong, Bikram Yoga.

Aude M also teaches Salsa New York Style on 2 (couple, shines, lady styling) and Bachata Moderna.
